The Edinburgh is a luxury all-apartment Residence located in the beating heart of Edinburgh, available to book for any length of stay, from one night, to one year or more.
This former bank on a corner of the prestigious St Andrew Square has been beautifully restored to its former glory, housing 50 fully equipped apartments with options to accommodate from one to six guests.
Each apartment is a showcase of contemporary interior design matched to the building’s historic past. Authentic fittings including dark wood panelling, fireplaces, brass door handles and decorative cornicing are seamlessly woven into the modern décor.
The building features a stunning three bedroom penthouse on the top floor providing unrivalled 360 degree panoramic views of Edinburgh and beyond from its expansive terrace. There is also a signature one-bedroom Directors’ Suite apartment with a private dining space for up to 10 guests.
Residents and guests can take advantage of cocktail bar and lounge The Register Club on the 4th floor, and on the ground floor and basement level (site of the bank’s original vault), guests will find steakhouse restaurant Hawksmoor, The Café Bar, Restaurant & Night venue Lady Libertine and The CaveFit gym.
Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival. Early check in may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability.
Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability.
The Cancellation policy for these apartments is as follows:
• 7 nights duration or less, 48 hours notice of cancellation will be required
• 8 to 28 nights, 7 days’ notice of cancellation will be required
• 29 – 89 nights, 14 days’ notice of cancellation will be required
• 90+ nights, 30 notice of cancellation will be required
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. No refunds will be made for non-arrivals.
**Please note during the summer period the cancellation may vary.**
For stays of less than 30 nights full payment will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. If credit facilities are agreed then for stays of 30+ nights a minimum payment equal to the first months’ rental will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival| otherwise full payment for the booking will be required.
If a special or reduced rate has been agreed for a long term booking of over 60 nights then the landlord reserves the right to charge the full published rate backdated to the start of the booking if notice is given to leave early, even if notice is given within the time frames specified above.
On booking you will be asked to complete and sign a credit card authorisation form and to provide a copy of photographic ID, either passport, driving licence or photo ID card. A £250 security deposit is also required and will be held against damages or incidentals.
Please provide us within at least 14 days, written notice to apply for an extension to the reserved moving-out date. Prestige Apartments will endeavour to grant any requests for such extensions however this will be strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. An alternative apartment may be offered if the apartment that was initially booked is unavailable for all or any part of the extension period.
