Manchester is introducing a City Visitor Charge which will be applicable to all stays from 1st April 2023.
Created for the development and promotion of tourism and the enhancement of visitor experience in Manchester, the City Visitor Charge is a supplementary £1 charge per room/apartment per night for guests, added to the final accommodation bill. The statutory Charge is collected from all paid accommodation establishments that fall into the Manchester ABID zone. There is no cap on room nights and therefore a three-month booking would be subject to an approximate charge of £90 depending on the period.
Check in is from 2pm. Early check in may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability.
Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability. On departure please be sure that you close the door securely behind you.
If there is any delay in vacating the apartment beyond the agreed time without prior consent in writing, a full day’s charge will be charged to the guest or each day or part of the day that the guest delays departure.
The following Cancellation Charges apply where the Guest cancels for any reason before or during their stay:
Notice of cancellation is as follows unless expressly agreed in writing at the time of booking.
7-28 nights, a cancellation may be made up to 7 days’ prior to arrival
29 – 89 nights, 14 days’ notice of cancellation will be required
90+ nights, 30 days’ notice of cancellation will be required
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing and cancellation reference obtained.
No refunds will be made for non-arrivals.
For stays of less than 30 nights full payment will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. If credit facilities are agreed then for stays of 30+ nights a minimum payment equal to the first months’ rental will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival| otherwise full payment for the booking will be required.
If a special or reduced rate has been agreed for a long term booking of over 60 nights then the landlord reserves the right to charge the full published rate backdated to the start of the booking if notice is given to leave early, even if notice is given within the time frames specified above.
Our security deposit is £250 as is refundable upon departure, less any charges.
Please provide us within at least 14 days, written notice to apply for an extension to the reserved moving-out date. Prestige Apartments will endeavour to grant any requests for such extensions however this will be strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. An alternative apartment may be offered if the apartment that was initially booked is unavailable for all or any part of the extension period.
