Everyone knows Mayfair as the most expensive and the most exclusive property on the Monopoly board, and it has earned that position for good reason. It is an almost square section of the West End of London and is bordered by Park Lane and Hyde Park to the east, Oxford Street to the North, Regent Street to the West and Piccadilly to the South.
Its name dates back to the 16th century, when the area was still quite rural and a somewhat dubious annual ‘May Fair’ was held in the area around Shepherd Market which in itself has long held a colourful past. The fair, which was deemed to be a nuisance, was banned in 1764 by which time much of the land had come into the ownership of the wealthy Grosvenor family.
Arranged over two floors our Marylebone serviced apartment has been refurbished thoroughly to exacting standards including hardwood flooring, comfort cooling, utility room with separate washer and dryer and security system. It comes with three generous bedrooms each with a double bed. There are also two full sized, high spec bathrooms on this floor and you can really cut down on your packing as the apartment comes complete with bedding, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.
Check-in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Early check-in may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability.
Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be possible on request for an additional fee but is subject to availability. On departure please be sure that you close the door securely behind you.
The Cancellation policy for these apartments is as follows:
For stays of under 28 nights the policy is 14 days prior to arrival and non-refundable and amendable once in housed.
For stay over 28 nights the policy is 14 days prior to arrival and once in housed.
For stays of less than 30 nights full payment will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. If credit facilities are agreed then for stays of 30+ nights a minimum payment equal to the first months’ rental will be due at least 2 weeks prior to arrival| otherwise full payment for the booking will be required.
If a special or reduced rate has been agreed for a long term booking of over 60 nights then the landlord reserves the right to charge the full published rate backdated to the start of the booking if notice is given to leave early, even if notice is given within the time frames specified above.
On booking you will be asked to complete and sign a credit card authorisation form and to provide a copy of photographic ID, either passport, driving licence or photo ID card.
Please provide us within at least 14 days, written notice to apply for an extension to the reserved moving-out date. Prestige Apartments will endeavour to grant any requests for such extensions however this will be strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. An alternative apartment may be offered if the apartment that was initially booked is unavailable for all or any part of the extension period.
