We asked our Summer Snaps photo competition winner Rose Taberrer of Cornwall what she'd thought of her trip to London, and her stay at Citadines Trafalgar and we received this lovely reply, which we thought was just great!
Hi Marietjie
As you know, I went especially to see the poppies which are incredible. I was there at dawn when it was very peaceful without the crowds, and then the Queen visited, so I got to see her too :) The location of Citadines is perfect, I could walk to/from everywhere really easily. The apartment was really spacious, quiet and VERY clean. I managed to get 2 concerts in on my trip (I caught the night train back to Cornwall) and lots of shopping too - phew - I was exhausted when I got home, but had such a brilliant time!
Thank you once again for such a lovely prize, I made full use of it! :)
